Questions

Here you’ll find answers to the most common questions about our prints, orders, shipping, and more – all in one place.

How are your prints made?

Our prints are made to last. Each piece is produced using museum-grade printing processes, either pigment or chromogenic, selected according to the artist’s vision and the nature of the artwork.

  • Pigment printing (also called Giclée) is a fine art process that uses pigment-based inks to achieve exceptional detail, rich colour, and superior longevity.
  • Chromogenic printing (also called C-Type) is a true photographic process using chromogenic materials. The print is created on light-sensitive silver halide paper, exposed with a laser, then developed through traditional chemical baths. Colours formed at the molecular level produce continuous tone, natural gradients, and a deep, timeless photographic richness.

Both techniques represent the highest standards in fine art printing, ensuring remarkable colour fidelity, texture, and durability. Our paper selection is among the best in class — including Hahnemühle Photo Rag®, Canson Baryta, Ilford Cotton Textured, and others — each chosen for its archival quality and tactile excellence.

Paper and print details are listed on each product page.

What frame do you offer?

We use Nielsen Quadrum frames – made from solid wood with a classic straight profile. Minimal design for timeless appeal, blending seamlessly with any interior.

The frames are made of only high-quality components:

  • edge-ground float glass with a 45% UV protection
  • acid-free insert
  • FSC®-certified pine wood moulding (license code: FSC® C021405)
  • FSC®-certified backingboard made of sturdy MDF with hangers in portrait and landscape format
  • Photo formats incl. easel
  • Made in Germany

The wood comes from sustainably managed forests that meet the criteria of the Forest Stewardship Council®.

For the Gallery and XL Gallery frames, we use a very high quality 3mm clear acrylic to prevent damage during transit.

To draw the eye to the piece we add an elegant passepartout around the artwork. It is an high-quality, acide-free cardboard of 1.4 mm in thickness cut to an angle of 45°.

Your order arrives ready to hang. We use a nail-hanging type of fixture on the reverse panel.

By early 2026, we aim at shipping to more countries including United States and Canada. Feel free to contact us if you wish to order our prints from a country not listed above.

We ship our prints with the greatest care to ensure they arrive safely. Each print is secured in a protective cardboard box marked “Fragile”, with multiple layers of internal protection:
