Some Stand Some Don’t

A quiet reflection on individuality, capturing that subtle moment when choosing not to follow the crowd becomes an act of personal expression.

This print from the First Edition collection includes the artist’s original narrative, discreetly printed beneath the image. Placing you not only in the scene, but inside the story behind it. As part of the artist’s debut series, these are the very first collector pieces ever released.

Museum-Quality Chromogenic Print

This print is made to last, produced with museum-quality C-Type printing, a true photographic process using chromogenic materials. The print is created on light-sensitive silver halide paper with the image exposed using a laser, then developed through traditional chemical baths. Colors, formed at the molecular level, give continuous tone, natural gradients, and a rich photographic depth.

Printed on Fuji Matt 231 g/m² from the Fuji Crystal Archive range, this paper has a bright white base with a soft satin finish. Its smooth surface delivers natural colour balance, fine detail, and a classic photographic feel, while ensuring archival longevity.

  • Chromogenic C-Type print
  • 231 g/m² Fuji Matt (Fuji Crystal Archive)
  • Bright white tone paper, satin finish, smooth surface
  • Archival quality of 40 years daylight, 80 years dark
Ready-To-Hang Wooden Frame

Our frames are handmade from high-quality wood and crafted to the highest standards. Each frame features a premium glass window that protects the artwork.

Designed for ease, they include turning clips on the back so you can easily mount your print yourself. All frames can be hung vertically or horizontally, and your order arrives ready to hang.

A high-quality, acid-free passepartout surrounds the artwork inside the frame. This not only preserves the print but also adds an elegant visual space that draws the eye to the piece.

The way home

Have you noticed how, after hours inside, night quietly arrives without asking? Amsterdam by night feels altered. The city softens. What daylight reveals, the night reshapes. Lights stretch longer. Streets fall quiet. Familiar things seem distant; hidden ones come forward. It’s not just darkness it’s a shift in perception.

Narrative On Print

Some Stand Some Don’t is a quiet observation on individuality and taste.
We all walk through life in our own way. Some rise, some remain still. This image captures that exact moment: when you feel different, when you choose not to follow the crowd. It’s about asserting your presence, your perspective, your taste. Because standing apart is sometimes the most personal thing you can do.

Florian Laroye
Meet the Artist

Florian Laroye is a photographer drawn to the essence of a moment. Rather than chasing the spectacular, he focuses on color, form, and composition to capture emotion, often with a sense of quiet romanticism. He calls it the Art of Noticing.

Did you know I own the world’s best camera? The iPhone ☻
Always in my pocket. Always just 2 seconds away from the next capture.
I let my curiosity notice colors, shapes, compositions, romanticism and boooom, it’s captured.
